Full Inverter technology: How to improve performance when heating a pool

Hydro HeatPool, a brand owned by Bonet Especialitats Hidroquímiques (BEHQ), maintains a constant evolution and development in equipment to have the most advanced technology. Thanks to the greater awareness of reducing energy consumption and improving the performance of the equipment, the firm presents the new models of air conditioning pumps with full inverter technology (both the motor and the fan are). This technology generates high energy savings and improves the heating performance in swimming pools.

A heat pump with compressor full inverter maintains and adapts its service much more constantly than one that on/off, because in its operation there are no starting peaks, it is progressive until the service point according to the desired temperature and it adapts the revolutions according to the heating needs (Figure 1).

With all this, the energy consumption of the pump is reduced, while the performance improves considerably, including the following:

− There are no starting peaks.
− Lower consumption.
− Less ambient noise.
− Greater range of service temperatures.

In addition, all the new models of Hydro HeatPool brand full inverter pumps use R32 gas, which is more ecological and allows working at more extreme temperatures than the previous R-407C and R-410A. All models even have a heating priority kit and incorporate the option of remote control via the Wi-Fi module.

Pump characteristics
The main features of Hydro HeatPool heat pumps are:

− PVC-coated titanium exchanger (resistant to corrosion by water and usual disinfectants), with double corrugated titanium spiral chamber (internal and external).

It implies more surface and more contact time of the water with the exchanger. 

− Extremely quiet and compact pumps thanks to their full inverter soft start technology (compressor and fan) and constant service without peaks that optimize the use of the compressor to obtain the best performance with the lowest electrical cost.

− They can work with minimum temperatures from -10ºC.

− Reversible with Dual Smart system, that is, they heat up to 35 ºC and cool down to 8 ºC, with automatic defrost.

− Regulation by digital screen, with the possibility of connection up to 100 m from the machine.
